NECEM Seminar: Architectural Design, Building Performance Simulation and Energy

Dr. Neveen Hamza from Newcastle University is an architect and a building scientist with an interest in the relationships between architectural design, building performance simulation and energy consumption, human well-being and sustainability from a technical and social perspective.  She will present a NECEM seminar on 13th November 2-3pm at Newcastle University, Armstrong Building, G.42.

Dr Hamza has undertaken a number of consultancies that look into integrating building performance simulation in the architectural design studio and on reducing the carbon footprints of buildings including Hexham Abbey and the Northumbria Police Headquarters in Newcastle upon Tyne.
