NECEM International Conference on Energy Materials and Interfaces

On behalf of Dr Libby Gibson, the NECEM Management Committee would like to say a massive thank you to everyone involved in the NECEM International Conference on Energy Material and Interfaces that took place at Newcastle University 29th July-1st August 2019.

We welcomed over 170 delegates over the week, with many of you travelling considerable distances to join us.  We had delegates and speakers from China, Australia, Singapore, Japan, Algeria, Italy, Germany, The Netherlands, Sweden, The USA, Turkey and Portugal.

Your enthusiastic participation was truly appreciated and I’m sure the conference has facilitated several new collaborations and friendships.

NECEM is particularly grateful for the time and effort many of you invested to prepare presentations and posters.  Your diverse and informative contributions resulted in a valuable event for our energy research community. Any feedback you have would be gratefully received.

A big thank you to all the “behind the scenes” support from our caterers, cleaners, AV support and various professional services staff from around the university.
