6th North East Energy Materials Meeting

The 6^th North East Energy Materials meeting took place at Northumbria University on 19^th November 2019.

There were 47 attendees, with industry representatives from: Lesker, NELEP, BASF, Semimetrics, EPRSC, SP Energy Networks, Shell, Equiwatt, Northern Powergrid, KTN Energy, ICARE, Oxford Instruments, Airbus, NSG, Tescan, Avid Technology, Epivalence, Ceres Power and Power Roll.

The meeting covered a broad range of talks divided in two categories: “Applied Materials in Renewable Energy” and “System Integration of Renewable Energy”. It also featured a poster session from the EPSRC ReNU CDT (Renewable Energy North East Universities Centre for Doctoral Training) students.
