The Alzheimer's Society visit the lab

On 9th November lab members Lauren and Kirsty spoke to fundraisers and members of the Alzheimer's Society about the multidisciplinary dementia research being conducted at the Institute of Neuroscience at Newcastle University.   The group then had a tour of the labs where they were shown the world class facilities we have on the CAV site including: - the Newcastle Brain Tissue Resource, the microscopy suite, a visit to the Brain and Movement group in the Gait Laboratory, and the Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Centre for brain imaging.
