Lynne retires!
The lab said a fond farewell to Lynne Ramsay, Specialist Biomedical Scientist in Neuropathology, on Friday 17th March after a career spanning 42 years. Lynne saw many changes in the practice of histology over this period, and was always happy to discuss some of the more obscure techniques that she had used in this time period.
Experience can not be taught, only acquired, and it is fair to say that Lynne's expert opinion on all matters histology will be greatly missed by the NDPRG. Aside from missing Lynne in a professional context, we will also all greatly miss her as a friend. Professor Attems and all of the NDPRG wish Lynne a very happy retirement, and we greatly hope that she continues to visit the laboratory to catch up with us.
