Alex is a postdoc at the Sustainable Gas Institute (SGI) at Imperial College London. At the SGI, Alex develops the agent-based model MUSE to better understand how the global energy system may evolve over the long-term. Alex has a background in data science and AI, and studied a PhD at Newcastle University in Computer Science and an MEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at UCL. Alex has a particular interest in working on optimising complex systems with AI, and how these can make an impact in a global context.
