Abdul is an IT Consultant at Newcastle University with 10 years of experience working with academic and research staff providing IT support tailored around their project requirements in order to assist them achieve the desired outcomes.

In 2020 Abdul’s achieved a Distinction in MSc Data Science from Newcastle University. During the MSc Abdul worked with the Bioscience Institute and the Research Software Engineering teams at Newcastle University to develop a complex Deep Learning model using PyTorch to detect senescent cells in microscopy images using high performance computing (Rocket) to train and develop the model.
