Project summary: Lysine is an abundant but underexplored target for covalent drug design due its reduced nucleophilicity. This project explores a dual-functionality approach for covalent modification. Using a design–make–test approach, the research aims to develop and optimise novel chemical tools for selective lysine targeting, with reactivity evaluated using model assays.
