Project Summary: Ischaemia Reperfusion Injury (IRI) remains a significant challenge in organ transplantation and the severity is associated with rates if chronic rejection. IRI is a complex pathological process, and the better understanding of it will aid in the development of ways to mitigate it. This project aims to better characterise the chemokines involved in the inflammatory response of IRI by identifying which post translational modifications are present on chemokines during IRI.
