Project Summary: I will be developing new biosensors for the detection of bacterial lectins associated with disease. Fluorescent glycopolymers that mimic the mammalian surface will exploit the carbohydrate recognition of these lectins. These polymers will then be attached to surfaces to form the basis of new sensors to rapidly detect and diagnose infection.

Interesting Fact: I have a gecko named Leonardo.
