• Project Title: The synthesis and evaluation of radioimmunoconjugates in the PET imaging of cancer

Project Summary: Over my PhD, I will be working on multiple projects orienting around conjugating different antibodies with various chemical groups such as peptides, chelating agents, fluorophores and drugs. The resulting antibody conjugates will then be characterised using LCMS before radiolabelling with zirconium-89. The radioimmunoconjugates will then be tested in vitro and in vivo to assess their efficacy as cancer targeting PET imaging agents.

Interesting Fact: In my spare time I love being outdoors, pursuing hobbies such as sailing, snowboarding and hiking in the Lake District. I am also currently eagerly learning to paraglide.
