Ideation Training 2026

Over summer 2026, cohort 5 took part in our ideation training, tasked with working collaboratively across research groups and institutions to prepare their own research proposal. On 4th September, students taking part in this year’s ideation training delivered their pitches to a panel from industry and academia, including , Liz Crone (Owlstone Medical), Gareth Jenkins (Arcinova), and Natalie Tatum (Newcastle University).

Well done to Hannah Cole and Hyeyun Jung, supervised by Prof Steven Cobb and Dr Harold Fellermann, respectively, for their winning pitch!
