Annual Conference 2026

This year, the MoSMed CDT's flagship event, the annual conference, comes to Newcastle University on the 14-15th May 2026. The Conference will be held in person at the Frederick Douglass Centre, Newcastle University (see campus map). Our annual two day event will include talks and poster events showcasing the work of our fantastic researchers, and a careers themed panel. We look forward to welcoming our industry partners, researchers, supervisors, and academic colleagues, as well as our MoSMed Alumni to this event. We are also very excited to welcome Prof Zoe Waller (UCL) as this year's Conference keynote speaker.
We are also delighted to be hosting our conference dinner at Baltic Centre for Contemporary Arts for the first time, a truly unique and historic venue.
