Based on the 2013 National Joint Replacement Registry annual report (Australian Orthopaedic Association) the Cormet cemented resurfacing head and the Cormet HAP Bi-coated (cementless resurfacing), along with Cormet 2000 HAP (no longer used), have been reported to have a significantly higher rate of revision- both individually and combined- when compared to all resurfacing prostheses.
