Metal-on-metal hip replacements and their recent failure
During this project we aim to
- bring together engineering knowledge on failed hip implants with patient experiences - complete questionniare
- record and document patient experiences with failed hip implants
- build a public dialogue around the failure of this medical device and document ‘lessons learnt’
- disseminate engineering knowledge with patient-relevance locally and nationally through public talks and workshops
