J&J said to pay to settle first lawsuits over hips
Bloomberg reports that DePuy are set to pay $600,000 to settle the three of the early cases. Each case is set to receive $200,000 in order to avoid going to court. This is said to be at the lower end of what DePuy should have expected to pay, with settlements estimated to cost between $200,000 and $500,000 per case. Full article available here
