The concluding phase of the Making Provisions project will involve asking a sample of those who have participated in earlier stages of our research to take part in a statement sorting exercise based on a research technique called Q Methodology. This exercise is designed to help the research team to further refine the themes and connections which have emerged from our data analysis so far, and to test the robustness of our tentative conclusions. The results of our sorting exercise will also inform some of our project's findings and outputs for policymakers and stakeholders across the UK food system.
The links below provide access to a brief introduction to Q Methodology and a copy of the sorting exercise results grid. Research participants may find these documents useful.
