Shishir Shetty

Shishir is a Cancer Research UK Advanced Clinician Scientist and Consultant Hepatologist at the University of Birmingham and Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.  He looks after patients with primary liver cancer (HCC) and also leads a laboratory group that studies how immune cells interact with blood vessels within the liver.  By studying  blood vessels in the liver, Shishir's group hope to find new treatments that will help immune cells get to the right place at the right time to attack cancer cells.
