Kenyon saying that he holds up the 'Iraq Dept of Antiquities as the model for the manner in which the division of finds is made between excavators and the local Govt and that as long as things remain in my hands he will be perfectly satisfied. "

The Milking Scene
"We sat with our catalogues and ticked the things off. But the really agonizing part was after lunch when I had to tell them that I must take the milking scene. I can't do otherwise. It's unique and it depicts the life of the country at an immensely early date."
