"Andrew is a video artist who also makes drawings and performances. His works condense and choreograph his life and many varied interests into tense, vibrant fragments. A politics of ecstasy has set the tone of our relationship and his works in all media betray a heightened state of being be it self-flagellation or rhapsody." - Lucy Stein.
I work within an expanded practice that is characterised by existential enquiry and an exploration of the contingencies and coping mechanisms inherent within subjective consciousness and perception. Focusing on the body as the site where information is processed and where data becomes manifest, I endeavour to assimilate the components that comprise self and the components in which self is manifest: body, mind, language, society, technology.
