Mike Stubbs is a film-maker, new media artist and curator based in Dundee. His work often adopts a documentary style, creating poignant social observations in films such as River, Little England, Doughnut and Homing, many of which have been broadcast on Channel 4 and the BBC. His most recent film, Zero, was made in zero gravity on board a Russian military aircraft at the Yuri Gagarin Training Centre. Strapline Project CITY STRAPLINE INDUSTRIES, an investigation into city branding, is Mike's current project as an Artist in Residence at the Newcastle and Gateshead Initiative 2003.
