Dr Ragnhild Lyngved Staberg

Ragnhild Lyngved Staberg; Ph.D. in biology and science education, and Associate Professor at NTNU, The Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Faculty of Teacher and Interpreter Education. She has taught at various levels at college and university, and has held student workshops and teacher training at NTNU's Resource Centre for Education in Mathematics, Science and Technology.

Dr Staberg has also developed educational programs on Viten.no and is co-author of the book Biology for Teachers, Science in Teacher Education and is now writing a textbook in science for lower secondary school. Since 2010 she has taken part in several EU funded projects; PRIMAS (Promoting Inquiry in Mathematics and Science education across Europe), MaSciL (Mathematics and Science for life), and now FASMED (Improving progress for lower achievers through Formative Assessment in Science and Mathematics Education).

Dr Staberg has been a member of the board in the National network for science education since 2009, she has been coordinator of the science department at NTNU and coordinator of the team working with science teacher education at NTNU.
