The Muslim League in the Republic of Poland was established on April 14, 2001, on the initiative of Polish Muslims in response to the growing number of Muslim believers in Poland and due to the high needs of the Muslim community. The league was officially registered on January 6, 2004 in the Department of Religious Denominations and Minorities at the Ministry of the Interior and Administration and officially entered into the Register of Churches and other religious associations.
