Museum Friedland explores, secures, presents and conveys the past and present of Friedland Transit Camp. In addition, it focuses on the complex processes of farewell, arrival and new beginnings in general, as well as various aspects of migration policy, social participation, borders, identities and affiliations, consequences of war, human rights and asylum, both in the historical and contemporary perspective.
