The Maite Social Promotion Association was founded in 2010 by the desire of a group of friends to encourage cultural, social, musical, theatrical, food, and wine events in the city of Bergamo. The project, which rests on solid roots, has taken on an increasingly intergenerational character, collecting adhesions both among young people (with a creative, playful and proactive role), and between adults (who use space as a place of aggregation in its more classical conception) given the articulated and diversified programming. Maite is currently taking care and using the spaces of the former prison of Santa Agata in Bergamo city centre.
