Amanda Lane

Amanda is the Centre Manager and she supports the Centre Director by providing strategic, financial, and operational management of the Centre ensuring they are meeting their objectives.  The main functions of the role include managing the student recruitment process from 2019 to 2024, and subsequent lifecycle of studentships to graduation across five cohorts of students.  Other aspects of the role include financial management, reporting to EPSRC, collating and presenting statistical information to centre management team, managing the relationships with industrial and network partners as well as managing annual events and student training programmes.

Amanda has previously undertaken other roles over three decades at Newcastle University within the School of Engineering, Newcastle University Business School, Centre for Knowledge, Innovation, Technology and Enterprise (KITE) and the Centre for Urban and Regional Development Studies (CURDS).
