Amanda Lane

Amanda is the Centre Manager and she supports the Centre Director by providing strategic, financial, and operational management of the Centre ensuring they are meeting their objectives.  The main functions of the role include managing student recruitment and the lifecycle to graduation across five cohorts.  Other aspects of the role include financial management, reporting to funder, collating and presenting statistical information to centre management team, liaising with industrial and network partners as well as arranging annual events and student training programmes.

She has previously undertaken other roles over three decades at Newcastle University within the School of Engineering, Newcastle University Business School, Centre for Knowledge, Innovation, Technology and Enterprise (KITE) and the Centre for Urban and Regional Development Studies (CURDS).
