Alison is the Centre's Project Coordinator and joined in March 2025.  She provides operational support to the Centre Director and Manager to ensure the funder terms and conditions are being met.  The main functions of the role include providing support through training, events and meetings.  Other aspects of the role include financial processing and ensuring institutional policies are being followed.

Alison's previous roles have been within School of Engineering at Newcastle University most recently supporting the Driving the Electric Revolution Industrialisation Centres (DER-IC) and prior to that the Institute for Sustainability.  Alison joined Newcastle University in 2014 from Durham University.
