Dr Glynn Atkinson is a Senior Lecturer and the Faculty Associate Dean for Postgraduate Research. His research interests include the design of three-dimensional machine topologies using Soft Magnetic Composites, He has worked with many industrial partners, and set-up the Höganäs Research Centre at Newcastle, which is the world leading research centre for Soft Magnetic Composite use in electrical machines.
