Aims
The study aims to develop and test an approach to help people living with dementia and their families/carers and dentists to make decisions together about dental treatment.
Study Objectives
•To look at how people living with dementia and their family/carers feel about decision-making for dental care and the process of having dental treatment
•To figure out how dentists feel about the decision making process when looking after people living with dementia
•To look at what might make decision making easier or more challenging for people living with dementia who need dental care
•To design an approach that will support patients and dentists in making decisions about dental care
