The CSPAWS team consists of PhD Research Student Ms Tessa Gough, Dr Elizabeth Lewis and Dr Geoff Parkin.

Tessa’s PhD study is focussed on the use of rainfall data generated via citizen science to supplement formal rain gauge networks, and this project will benefit significantly from its complementarity with the PhD study which will support scaling up to the national scale.

Elizabeth is an environmental scientist specialising in extreme rainfall and flood risk, who has used prize winning creative engagement techniques including an augmented reality sandbox, games and crafts to communicate sustainability issues with a wide variety of audiences.

Geoff is a highly experienced hydrologist with published track record in citizen science based hydrological applications.

We look forward to working with you!
