There are lots of online resources to help you in your weather watching. We have brought together some of the best guides, explanations and supporting documents from other providers. WOW! Weather Observation Website

The Met Office Weather Observation Website (http://wow.metoffice.gov.uk/) is a great place to share your weather data or see the results from other citizen scientists. There are instructions on how to get started on the Met Office pages and the project team can also help if you get stuck. There are some helpful guides on our pages too so check those out. Sharing data via the Met Office means it will be freely available for anyone to use, and who doesn't love a freebie!

Royal Meteorological Society -RMetS

The RMetS mission statement is; “To promote the understanding and application of meteorology for the benefit of all." which seems fair for a meterological society, and they live up to their aim! Their web site (https://www.rmets.org/) has loads of information suitable for all ages of weather wathcher, details of events, and plublications to expand your knowledge. You can become a member, but a lot of their resources are freely accessible too. Have a look at their pages for further weather realted links to expand your weather world. 

Climate Observers Link - COL

COL has been a place for people to share and discuss weather obervations since 1950 (https://www.colweather.org.uk/index.php), They produce a monthly bulletin with detailed weather related content.  If you want to get more involved with weather watching you may have found your people at COL.
