Working in a new team can be a bit daunting, especially when you may not have met your teammates before. During the Challenge,  you will learn a lot about what it is like working with others, and how you yourself contribute to a team.

Team roles

We recommend that everyone in your team completes the Belbin team questionnaire to get an understanding of key roles that teammates fulfil in a team. You will get an understanding of yourself and of how others work by exploring the 9 different team roles in the image above.

Collaborating at a distance.

As this challenge takes place online, you will also have to work together online. A good place to start is MicrosoftTeams, where you can easily find anyone else within Newcastle University, set up group chats and share documents you are working on together.
