| The
'saltlick | live' project is a low(ish)-tech solution to the problem of
introducing performative elements to electronic music. It opens out DJ skills
in more directly improvisational ways to allow instability and chaotic content
within music that is more usually recognised for its synchrony. The performance
mixes together multiple and discrete musical elements to form an extravaganza
