Rosalind McLachlan and Toby Phips Lloyd

Rosalind is currently undertaking the MFA at Newcastle University.

Originally from Cambridge, Lloyd fled to Newcastle to become an artist and escape a career as a publican. He has recently completed his MFA (Masters of Fine Art), where for the course interim exhibition he built his own pub, Praxis Public House, which functioned as a self-portrait and a critique of the chain pubs that litter our high streets and town centres. Lloyd has exhibited internationally and collaborated with several artists, recently with Andrew Wilson on A Newbridge Enquiry at Newbridge Space, and with Harry Palmer on ScartVideo. He is an amateur home brewer, carpenter and teacher. He enjoys reading, drinking real ale and listening to loud Japanese drone music.
