Kate Stobbart
Without question one of the most indecisive artists of her generation Kate Stobbart is influenced by a strong sense of inadequacy and a deep-seated desire to succeed. Stobbart rose to prominence on both sides of the Atlantic, following major national and international rejections including SPILL National Platform, London (2012), Courtisane Festival, Ghent (2011), International Streaming Festival, The Hague (2010), Arnolfini Gallery, Bristol (2010), New Contemporaries, London (2009), and the Madrid Abierto (2008). In 2012 Stobbart was not selected for the Daiwa Foundation Art Prize.
