Cath Keay

Cath Keay is a sculptor and currently the Norma Lipman Scholar working towards a practice based PhD. In her work she enables natural actions and phenomena to negociate the outcome of the form. She is currently collaborating with scientists at the Dove Marine Laboratory on the project '1000 Tides' exploring John Ruskin's concept of Darwinism. Her ongoing collaboration with beekeeper Brian Pool has resulted in several exhibitions including the 'Laing Solo' at the Laing Art Gallery in 2005, 'A New Destiny is Prepared', An Tobar, Mull 2006 and 'Only the Facts are Clear', Gallerie Am Ecke, Dusseldorf 2005.
