I am Professor of Dental Education at Newcastle University, School of Dental Sciences, where I have strategic oversight of all our undergraduate and post-graduate taught programmes.

I am a dentist by qualification and have an Honorary Consultant contract with Newcastle NHS Trust where I work as a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry.

My interest in Clinical Education Research is currently focussed around the concept of Professionalism, and feedback.
