BIO-FLARE stands for BIOlogical Factors that Limit sustAined Remission in rhEumatoid arthritis. It is a prospective longitudinal cohort study investigating the pathogenesis of flare in rheumatoid arthritis funded by the Medical Research Council (UK) and led by Newcastle University, in collboration with the University of Glasgow and the University of Birmingham.
