Thomas Stubbs joined the AGE Research Group for his masters research project. This looked at the effect of mobility prior to hip fracture on patient outcomes and assessed the impact of different perioperative tranexamic acid policies in hip fracture surgery patients. Thomas previously worked with the group as an undergraduate student to analyse the performance of risk prediction scores in predicting outcomes for patients undergoing hip fracture surgery.
