Sharlene Jaiswal

Sharlene is an intercalating medical student and undertook an MRes degree project with the AGE Research Group. Based in the Campus for Ageing & Vitality, Sharlene used data on hip fracture patients to asses post-operative outcomes, with an aim to investigate ways to clinically predict these outcomes in patients. In particular, her project investigated the use of measuring grip strength and its added benefit to current practice and use of scoring systems.
