Ashley worked with the AGE research group as part of the Academic Foundation Program starting in August 2020. She undertook a systematic review of the prevalence of Sarcopenia in parkinsonism, specifically looking for differences in prevalence of Sarcopenia between idiopathic Parkinson’s disease and other secondary causes of parkinsonism. She also looked at how prevalence of Sarcopenia is correlated with disease severity in Parkinsons.
