Professor Rachel Cooper

Rachel joined the AGE research group in December 2021. Rachel applies her expertise in life course epidemiology to the study of healthy ageing, with a focus on physical capability, musculoskeletal health and function and multiple long-term conditions.  She has extensive experience of working with large population-based longitudinal studies having been part of the team responsible for running the oldest of the national British birth cohort studies between 2007 and 2018.
