Miss Daniela Carpinelli

Daniela joined the AGE Research Group in June 2021 to work predominantly on the ADMISSION Research Collaborative funded by the MRC and NIHR.

Prior to joining the group, she began working at Newcastle University in 2019 as a Learning and Teaching Administrator in the Faculty office for Humanities and Social Sciences and from December 2020 also worked in Student Services supporting postgraduate research students.  Before joining the University, she worked in administrative roles at the National Lottery Heritage Fund, London office, for nine years - a grant giving organisation awarding funding to non-for-profit organisations to deliver Heritage projects across the UK.  While in London she also volunteered at the charity SANE on a mental health helpline offering emotional support, guidance and information to anyone affected by mental illness.
