Dr Sarah Richardson

Sarah Richardson is an NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer in Older People’s Medicine.  She divides her time equally between clinical training in hospitals in the Northern Deanery and working with the AGE Research Group.  Her research interests are the epidemiology of delirium and the complex relationships between physical and cognitive function.  Supported by an Alzheimer’s Society Clinical Research Fellowship, Sarah successfully completed her PhD in 2019, examining the impact of delirium on cognitive trajectories.
