  • Jonny's PhD combines routine hospital data and a deeply phenotyped cohort to understand the burden of multiple long-term conditions in older adults.

Jonny is a Geriatric Medicine Trainee Registrar, currently working within the AGE Research Group as a Clinical Research Associate. The main focus of his research is around the burden of multiple long-term conditions in secondary care, working primarily within the ADMISSION research collaborative.

Within the ADMISSION project he is undertaking a PhD funded by UKRI, titled "Understanding the burden of multiple long-term conditions in older adults and underpinning mechanisms”. This research combines utilising both routine hospital data, and a deeply phenotyped cohort to explore mechanistic work. He has an interest in education, sitting on the committee of the Association for Elderly Medical Education, and brings this interest to the AGE Research Group where he contributes to the group's research capacity development work.
