Evidence Review Report: Transforming the Future of Ageing

A major new Evidence Review Report has just been published for the Science Advice for Policy by European Academies.  Led by the Federation of European Academies of Medicine, it brings together the expertise of a world-leading network of scientists from biomedical, human, social and engineering sciences, including AGE Research Group lead Professor Avan Aihie Sayer, to address the challenges faced by ageing populations and implications for health policy. The report reviews the best and most recent evidence to address how to achieve inclusive, fair and sustainable systems of health and social care for the future, and considers how Europe can develop solutions to these challenges by focusing on areas such as diet and exercise, the environment, technology and education.
