ZapZyme Technology - a novel enzyme for process cleaning
Fouling on equipment is a contamination risk during industrial processing. ZapZyme is a novel enzyme discovered at Newcastle University, which is able to break down bacterial biofilms efficiently at low temperature. ZapZyme offers a sustainable solution to industrial cleaning processes reducing the use of strong chemicals and large amounts of energy.
