He graduated with a first class Honours degree in Geographic Information Science from Newcastle University, in 2005. He was subsequently appointed Research Associate in GeoInformatics at Newcastle University. He has worked on many projects, including helping to develop the components of the UK Climate Projections ’09 (UKCP09) user . His research has focussed around the management, delivery and dissemination of geospatial data, specifically focussing on the use of open source products and tools. He is currently employed as a named researcher on the UK Infrastructures Transitions Research Consortium (ITRC), funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).
