JKUAT

JKUAT is a public university of the Kenya Government founded in 1981 as a middle level college. It became a constituent college of Kenyatta University in 1989, and was granted a charter in 1994 and thereby attained a full-fledged university status. The mission of JKUAT is to provide accessible quality university education, training, research and innovation in order to produce leaders in the fields of agriculture, engineering, technology, enterprise development, health and other applied science to suit the needs of a dynamic world.

MMU was established in Kenya as an institution of higher learning by the Universities Act of 2012.  Being a Technology-based institution, MMU offers programmes ranging from certificates to degrees. The mission of MMU is to provide quality training in engineering, media and communication, information science and technology and business to meet the aspirations of a dynamic society, while inculcating strong research, outreach, and innovation culture within an efficient team of academic, technical and administrative staff.

Since its inauguration as a full-fledged university in 2012, KSU has continued to expand. Currently, KSU has a number of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and other professional certification courses. The mission of KSU is to train high level human resource that meets the development needs of the country and international labour market, and to sustain production of high quality research and consultancy, and dissemination of knowledge, skills and competencies for the advancement of humanity.
