Managing Repetitive Behaviours Parent Group Study

The Managing Repetitive Behaviours Parent Group Study (MRB Study) is a clinical and cost effectiveness trial of a parent group intervention to recognise, understand and manage challenging restricted and repetitive behaviours in young children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, that has been developed in close collaboration with parents.

It is led by Dr Victoria Grahame, in collaboration with colleagues across the North East and Edinburgh.

The trial is sponsored by Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust and managed by Newcastle Clinical Trials Unit, a fully registered UKCRC Clinical Trials Unit.

This study is funded by the NIHR Health Technology Assessment Programme (ref 16/111/95). The views expressed are those of the author(s) and not necessarily those of the NHS, the NIHR or the Department of Health and Social Care.

Please note: Some people prefer to say a ‘child with ASD’, whilst the others might prefer the term ‘autistic child’. On this website we use the term ‘children with ASD’. We respect and appreciate that your language preference might be different.
